Alan is responsible for the strategic direction of Austcover and ultimately delivering results to clients and shareholders. Having worked in various roles within the business, ranging from Junior Assistant through to Director and General Manager, Alan strives to ensure that all clients are provided with the best possible insurance outcome. Alan is passionate about clients and the results that the Austcover teams provides to their businesses.

Alan holds a Diploma of Financial Services (Insurance Broking), Bachelor of Business (Human Resource Management), is a Qualified Practising Insurance Broker (QPIB) member of the National Insurance Brokers Association (NIBA) and Senior Associate, The Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance and has recently commenced a Masters of Business Administration at the University of Queensland.

 

Dean is responsible for the management and oversight of a diversified portfolio of Corporate and Commercial clients and is proactive in all aspects of business development . Dean strives to provide high levels of customer service to client’s in a broad range of sectors.

As a highly experienced corporate broker, he is used to dealing with large entities with complex insurance requirements. Dean is supported closely by his team of brokers who are dedicated to providing a seamless workflow and client experience. He holds a Diploma of Financial Services (Insurance Broking) and is a Qualified Practising Insurance Broker (QPIB), accredited by the National Insurance Brokers Association (NIBA).

 

With over 30 years of extensive experience at both international and national brokerages, Glen has developed exceptional expertise in working with a diverse range of corporate and commercial clients. His portfolio includes well-known food manufacturers, prominent property owners, leading hospitality operators, and complex import/export businesses.

Glen heads a dedicated team of nine professionals managing a diverse portfolio spanning various client types and industries. His unwavering commitment to achieving outstanding client outcomes and delivering superior service inspires his team to consistently excel and achieve exceptional results.

He holds a Diploma of Financial Services (Insurance Broking) and is a Qualified Practising Insurance Broker (QPIB), accredited by the National Insurance Brokers Association (NIBA).

 

With more than 30 years experience in the General Insurance industry Vanessa believes in meeting and exceeding service expectations for her clients. With a plain English personal approach to insurance, her clients range from those in the Community Service Sector to Manufacturers, Construction, Property Owners and more.

Vanessa is responsible for the management of her own portfolio along with her team of brokers and support staff. She holds a Diploma in Financial Services (General ), Diploma in Financial Services (Broking), as well as Qualified Practising Insurance Broker (QPIB) and CIP affililation. Member of the National Insurance Brokers Association (NIBA) Senior Associate, The Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF).

 

Steve has a wealth of experience in the placement and servicing of complex insurance programs and has worked for international brokers in London and Australia. His experience ranges across all classes of insurance.

In addition to managing accounts, Steve provides strategic direction and leadership to his team who are dedicated to exceptional client service and solution-based outcomes. Steve works closely with his team to ensure that professional standards are adhered to and provides technical assistance as required.

 

With 18 years of experience in the insurance broking industry, Casey specialises in managing commercial and corporate insurance programs and client relationships. Her extensive background includes expertise in the construction, manufacturing, professional services, wholesale trade, hospitality, and agriculture sectors, which has enhanced her commercial awareness, business acumen, and relationship management skills.

Today, Casey combines strategic leadership with innovative business development and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional client service. Her diverse experience enables her to provide tailored solutions, driving long-term success for clients while ensuring optimal insurance coverage and risk management strategies.
